Alan Tafoya is a musician, poet and songwriter, as well as an actor. His upcoming CD, Moments Locked in Time, features a collection of his own songs and songs of featured artists. Alan wrote the title song, for the documentary film, Dancing on the Edge, about his win at the Soldier of Fortune Combat Knife Fighting Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada. The song is a scorching blues rocker.

     The pop song, Angel Eyes, was written by Tafoya for his daughter. Featured artists include Jicarilla Apache singer, Candace Tafoya, with her It's All About You, and Jicarilla Vice President Ty Vicenti who sings My Warrior Song, a traditional veteran's song.

     Alan believes in the positive healing power of music and and that music will help keep the stories and vision of his Jicarilla people alive.
